Serious illness in a workplace creates a category of difficulty that standard HR processes don't cover. How do you support a colleague through cancer treatment without patronising them? How do you hold a team together when a leader is suddenly absent? How do you talk about prognosis honestly, with care, without breaking confidentiality?
These are the questions the programme will address.
